Overnight, the news discussed how cold it would get, and that with rain and cold we'd see ice. Then, we learned we'd have freezing rain and sleet. And it came to us!
I'm reminded of the Ice Story of 1994 when I was in college at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, MS. The freezing rain and sleet felt just exactly how that all began! The roads are slushy today, ice settling on trees are already causing branches to fall and trees to tumble. Friends are already losing power with transformers exploding around them. All day today, I've heard firetruck and ambulance sirens!
Here are a few items from today.
The streets are slushy and are going to freeze up! If you're at work, go home. If they won't let you go home: SHOW THEM THIS and tell them, "Muley says to."
