When I was a kid, my mom took June Talley and me to the Hickory Ridge Mall in Memphis, TN, which, in August 1983, was a hopping joint! As the years went on, however, it has fallen into basically a building of despair and loneliness with no life in it.
But, August 4 - 8, 1983, Disney's Sport Goofy made an appearance with Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, in a show dedicated to teaching about exercising and health.
